The Beginning of Client Cloudcare

As you may know, we pride ourselves on supporting many businesses and nonprofits with all of their Salesforce needs and helping to drive digital transformation for the better.

But if you’re wondering how Client Cloudcare was born, we’re going to give you a glimpse of our history and how our organization got to what it is today!

 

How we started

It all started with our Founder, Mary Crozier, who stumbled upon the power of Salesforce when she worked as a consultant in Japan.

The root of Client Cloudcare was planted from a passion project when Mary founded the Ombudsman Cloudcare app, which was designed to automate some of the process for the Navy Ombudsman.

Ombudsmen are Navy spouse volunteers who are appointed by the commanding officer and provide a communication link between the commanding officer and command families. They’re also professionally trained information and referral specialists for the command’s families.

The app was powered by a group of volunteers, all with one common goal – to make a real difference to the military community.

It was after launching the app that Mary had her lightbulb moment. Knowing the military spouse community had a devastatingly high unemployment rate, Mary saw an opportunity to continue supporting military spouses by providing flexible, part-time work.

And that’s when Client Cloudcare was born.

Client Cloudcare is now a well-established Salesforce consultancy with a growing crew of Salesforce experts – made up of military family and Veterans – that have the skills and knowledge to increase your Salesforce ROI.

We’re a little different from other consultancies. Because of our commitment to supporting the military community, it’s enabled us to add an extra perk for our clients. If you work with us, you’re also helping us support tens of military spouses get back into employment and pursue a technical career.

 

The Ombudsman Cloudcare app

Throwing it back to before the Covid-19 pandemic when Mary started working with the Ombudsman.

As a volunteer, Mary had a huge challenge at her hands. The Ombudsman had nothing (and we mean nothing!) automated. In a world where AI and automation is king, Mary felt she needed to change this.

That’s where the Ombudsman Cloudcare app came in.

It revolutionized the way the Ombudsman works – making case management processes smoother, easier, and more efficient, while drastically improving communication funnels too.

We like to call it a labor of love. We’re well associated with the military and Salesforce community so being a part of the Ombudsman’s digital transformation to access and securely share their cases internally has been a super great project to work on.

Our Client Cloudcare crew still put in many volunteer hours to help different causes and is still involved in the upkeep and maintenance of the Ombudsman Cloudcare app.

Although our work stems from a passion for helping the military community, it’s our mission and specialty to help as many SMBs, nonprofits, and Salesforce Partners to get the most out of their investment and free up their resources to focus on the most important work.
